Wow, Crash! How long do they plan to keep the sale going? With my new car I can do a 20-mile trip for educational purposes!!

The sale is still n today. Today I filled out most of my XFactor collection, picked up four Badgers (1-4 written by Baron Rude), Dreadstars written by Peter David, a couple more Nexus, and more Uncanny X-Men. There are some good books left. The entire Jon Sable collection is there. I am tempted to go and pick all of those up. I have heard excellent things about the book but it was wrapped up before I started reading. Then again i have already spent 70 dollars.

There is a ton of Batman, Spiderman, Superman, Alf (don't ask), Johnny Quest, XFactor, Xforce and much more there. The books are in decent condition, not mint or near mint but the covers are all intact and nothing is ripped.

It is a gold mine.

The best, I got a Nexus three. It is magazine size and has a record in it. And it is in excellent condition.

I be a very, very happy camper.

Now, if you can just look up what their worth...then I would be impressed.

LOL. Wizz is right, I am not likely to sell my comics. As for finding their value, that is relativly easy, you just pick up a comic book guide. (shrugs) Most of these books are in ok shape, but they are not in mint or near mint shape and hence not worth alot. For me, it was a chance to fill out my collection with books I was missing and some books I only have in trade paper back.

Not to mention the ads. You should see the ads they have for the original Spiderman game to be played in a Commador (sp) 64. LOL it is insane. Brings back memories

Commadore 64, that brings back memories - I have a non functional Commadore VIC 20 in the attic somewhere. Had 20K of memory, with expansion card LOL!

ZX81? Barely, Sinclair made the comp I used after the Commadore VIC 20 (20K max), which was the Sinclair Spectrum 128. Ahh the sound of an audio tape loading a program [img]smile.gif[/img]

Anybody remember the ZX81? I think they were sold under the Timex brand. It says "Sinclair" on the cover (yes, really) but I think Timex sold them. I've still got it. It's got an expansion slot so you can plug in a whompin' 64K RAM. The only thing I ever did with it (it hooked up to your TV) was fill the screen with "Hello", over and over and over. It only understood Basic.

I wonder if it still works. Something's loose inside the case.

WooHoo!! "Ask and you shall receive!" What a wonderful surprise I had at the bookstore Wednesday--a new B5 book. They call it a Technomage prequil, "The Shadow Within." It looks like Sheridan and Lyta(?) on the cover. Needless to say, I raced home and ordered it with my discount,no tax, no shipping deal. Even got some holiday shopping done with the call!
